媒体服务

媒体服务 provides a range of services for the college and its constituents, from poster printing, equipment loan, to the technical aspects of classroom technology 以及事件支持. We offer media production services and our 媒体制作实验室 is equipped with workstations for scanning, CD-R and DVD-R burning, graphics manipulation, and audio/video editing. Our primary responsibility is to assure that classroom technology is functional, easy to use, and supports the variety of teaching approaches adopted 最终用户. In addition to classroom support, 媒体服务 serves an essential role in providing technical AV support for campus sponsored events, whether in person 或虚拟.

When in need of audio/visual resources that may not be standard in a classroom, a request should be submitted through Skidmore’s online Event Management System, EMS, clearly describing what is needed.

• Instructions on using EMS to add 媒体服务 to an event request
• Instructions on using EMS to schedule pickup of equipment or delivery of equipment to spaces not available in EMS.
